Allied Troops Prepare for Gulf Heat

KUWAIT CITY (AP)--Fierce winds swept across desert camps near the Iraqi border Wednesday, enveloping soldiers in blinding clouds of sand and rattling tents like a drumroll.

And weatherwise, the worst is yet to come.
